Nothing OS 2.5.5 update brings ChatGPT support and more: All the details

Nothing OS 2.5.5 is rolling out now for the Nothing Phone (2), and comes with many new features. For starters, it has a new RAM booster option, a new recorder widget, a new battery widget, an Ultra XDR mode for better HDR photos in the camera app, and more.

The biggest addition of this update, however, is the native integration of ChatGPT into Nothing’s products, including Nothings’s new earbuds. Nothing Phone (2) will get a couple of widgets with ChatGPT, one for voice input, and the other for text, while the Nothing Earbuds can access ChatGPT with the Nothing X app.

This will allow users to ask questions or start voice conversations with the popular AI chatbot with different gestures. The Nothing OS 2.5.5 update also allows you to start ChatGPT in various modes directly from the Nothing Phone (2)’s home screen for faster access.

To enable this update on your Nothing Phone (2), Go to Settings, System, then System Update, and then Check for Updates. For developers, Nothing has also added a Glyph Interface Debug Mode in the developer options, with the 2.5.5 update.

Apart from this, the update also includes several bug fixes related to NFC, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity.
