The one-of-a-kind augmented reality (AR) was launched in Laax in Switzerland, on October 9 (Saturday). The experience is at the longest treetop walkway in the world

This weekend, a new augmented reality has been launched at the longest treetop walkway in the world.

The experience at the longest treetop walkway is known as the "Senda dil Dragun" or the Path of the Dragon.

Guests can rent tablets and cardbox glasses that will enhance their experience on the trial with AR.

The addition will allow guests of all ages to enjoy an immersive experience with added stories, images and insights of local wildlife.

And it's already popular with its 73-metre-long spiral slide.

Since the walkway was launched in July 2021, it has already received around 60,000 guests.

Now with its AR experience it is set to offer further nature experiences for the entire family.

Families can learn why the treetop walk in Laax is called the Path of the Dragon through a story prepared for children.

The idea behind the story comes from the famous Grisons storyteller Linard Bardill, who developed an educational kid's programme.

And a separate story has been prepared for adults.

From today, the AR offer will be available to guests on the treetop walk in Laax.

Its storytelling was developed for both children and adults to share the tale of how the Path of the Dragon got its name.

The new attraction will be inaugurated with a concert by Linard Bardill from 4pm at the access tower in Laax Murschetg.
