Virtual Reality hub to open in Reading for all ages

The UK’s first arena-scale virtual reality centre is opening its next venue in Reading next week.

From June 17, visitors will be able to experience the best of multi-player virtual reality gaming in Thames Valley’s latest meetspaceVR hub.

The Virtual Reality games will range from a whimsical walking adventure that defies gravity to an exhilarating zombie apocalypse experience with up to 8 other people, all designed by Zero Latency VR.

The Immersive Play Zone has been designed for younger gamers and families, which features ‘the best in kids immersive entertainment’. This includes the VR Quest Arena and the life-sized game console with interactive play wall.

The centre will also host well-known tethered VR experiences such as mind-bending VR Escape Rooms and their VR Arcade, where players can challenge their friends to some classic arcade-style games

The Thatcham, Reading venue joins meetspaceVR other venues in Nottingham, Birmingham and London, Wembley.

Situated just 30 minutes away from central Reading, the centre is located on an industrial estate with free on-site parking.
