Agnostiq announced the release of Covalent, an open-source workflow orchestration platform designed specifically for quantum computing and HPC technologies. Covalent aims to make quantum and high-performance computing resources more accessible to practitioners and developers, including machine learning engineers and data scientists. Alkymi announced the release of Patterns Studio, a solution that significantly accelerates automation deployment. Patterns Studio offers 500 pre-built templates and a suite of no-code, no-train configuration tools that enable business users to easily automate the extraction of document and email data.
VMware Tanzu Community Edition expanded its support for cloud-native application development and deployment with the addition of kpack, a Kubernetes-native automated container build platform that saves time for developers while also enabling operations teams to deliver containers more securely, reliably, and consistently at scale. Kpack joins Harbor, Knative, and other open source components of Tanzu Community Edition to further accelerate the delivery of containerized workloads.
Canonical Data Platform team announced the release of Charmed Kubeflow 1.4, a state-of-the-art MLOps platform. The new release enables data science teams to securely collaborate on AI/ML innovation on any cloud, from concept to production. Charmed Kubeflow is free to use and adds several features for advanced model lifecycle management, including upstream Kubeflow 1.4 and support for MLFlow integration.
Transposit announced platform features that automate user provisioning with new actions and connectors for Atlassian, Azure DevOps, and Slack. New connectors and actions enable user provisioning directly from Slack. A user can submit a request in Slack for user access, immediately kickstarting an approval workflow. Transposit’s human-in-the-loop automation enables approvers to automate the fulfillment with a single click or handle it manually, giving approvers the power to use human judgment and determine the right future action.
Confluent, on behalf of the Apache Kafka community, announced the release of Apache Kafka 3.1.0. Some of the key new features include OpenID Connect for authentication, KIP-775 for custom partitioners in foreign key joins, and more. The release notes contain a complete list of changes.
Domino Data Lab introduced Domino 5.0 with new capabilities that unleash model velocity, a metric of how fast data science teams build and update models. Domino 5.0 is also the first Enterprise MLOps solution validated and integrated with NVIDIA AI Enterprise, an end-to-end software suite optimized to run AI workloads with VMWare vSphere with Tanzu, on mainstream data center servers.
Verizon Business and Atos announced a partnership to power intelligent IoT solutions with private 5G multi-access edge computing. The Verizon-Atos solution provides an end-to-end architecture that includes hardware, 5G, application and automation, field services, and service desk support. The joint solution cost-effectively overcomes scalability and latency challenges. Verizon will implement the Atos Computer Vision platform in their private 5G multi-access edge computing as part of the joint solution for enterprises.
Prosimo announced the launch of its Prosimo Next Partner Program. Designed to help customers accelerate their multi-cloud journey, the Prosimo Next Partner Program enables strategic, innovative, and cloud-forward partners to help enterprises move seamlessly from traditional approaches using legacy networking to modern approaches with the Prosimo AXI platform.
ColdQuanta and Classiq announced a partnership to make 100-qubit quantum circuits a reality. The partnership combines the power of ColdQuanta’s cold atom quantum computers and Classiq’s quantum algorithm design software.
BISTelligence announced that it has spun out its AI analytics division to create a new U.S. manufacturing AI analytics company called Aidentyx. Aidentyx will drive the adoption of the company’s GrandView asset performance (APM) technology for industrial manufacturing sectors.
APImetrics announced it is acquiring API Science. API Science offers a suite of API Observability modules that are complementary to APImetrics’ monitoring. These modules will be integrated into the APImetrics & API.expert stacks over the coming months. The acquisition will expand the capabilities of the APImetrics platform and form the basis of a new set of features and functionality for both APImetrics and API.expert.
