Qualcomm has acquired MovianAI, a Vietnamese AI developer specializing in generative AI, machine learning and natural language processing, as part of its push to expand its AI portfolio.

MovianAI is the generative AI arm of VinAI Application and Research JSC, a machine learning research lab.

Qualcomm said the combination of VinAI’s generative AI capabilities with Qulacomm’s research and development will drive “extraordinary inventions.”
