Nintendo is close to reaching a total of $1.8 billion in revenue from its mobile games, which at the time of writing includes Super Mario Run, Dr. Mario World, Mario Kart Tour, Dragalia Lost, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, and Fire Emblem Heroes.

As reported by mobilegamer.biz, the lifetime global player spending in Nintendo's mobile line-up currently stands at $1,797,000,000. Fire Emblem Heroes makes up a large chunk of the spending, with a total of $983 million in revenue making up roughly 55% of the total takings.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and Mario Kart Tour are almost neck and neck at $276 million and $270 million respectively. Dragalia Lost, which is due to end service later this year, brought in $167 million. Super Mario Run, which was Nintendo's first proper stab at a 'free-to-start' title, brought in $87 million, and Dr. Mario World brings up the rear with $14 million.

Despite such strong revenue, Fire Emblem Heroes is on the lower end of the scale in terms of total downloads at 18 million. Super Mario Run sits at the top with 307 million downloads, which perhaps goes to show that Nintendo's decision to make the game free-to-start dented their ability to earn revenue from it.

Dragalia Lost achieved the lowest number of downloads at 4 million which, coupled with the rather average revenue from the game, is likely a key indicator to its upcoming closure. Mario Kart Tour, meanwhile, is quickly climbing the charts with a current total of 224 million. The game has been receiving multiple updates and events since its initial launch, the most latest of which is due to bring back fan-favourite track Coconut Mall via the Doctor Tour.
