Stoneridge Solar project located in Thorndale is operating.

THORNDALE — As Texas grows so does the need for energy, and to answer the need RWE Clean Energy LLC announced a new solar project is operating in Milam County bringing energy, jobs and money to the county.

According to a press release from RWE Clean Energy, the Stoneridge Solar project produces 200 MW of solar and 100 MW (200 MWh) of battery storage commissioned to support Texas' growing demand and has created 200 construction jobs along with permanent operational roles.
