15 AUGUST 2024 - Following the success of their previous games Cardboard Town, Stellar Settlers and Dice & Fold, young indie studio Rogue Duck teams up with fellow Turkish developer DiceHit Games to showcase their latest project: NeoDuel: Backpack Monsters.

It's a PvP inventory management auto-battler that brings a unique monster-trainer twist to the genre that has already captivated players looking for new blends of styles & gameplay with its engaging Steam demo.

In NeoDuel: Backpack Monsters, Duelists embark on a thrilling journey to harness the power of Cosmions, adorable yet mysterious monsters. By strategically placing and fusing them, players can unleash their full potential and dominate in intense asynchronous Duels and win tournaments.

The game will take part in the Wholesome Games Steam Celebration, showcasing its cute aesthetics and engaging gameplay. The Steam event will run from 15 to 21 August and is known in the industry for highlighting uplifting, non-violent, and joyful games, featuring titles that focus on positive, comforting and creative themes. The passion and love put into the delightful universe of Cosmions is set to catch the attention of players seeking lighthearted fun that challenges their strategic thinking and inventory management skills.

For this celebration, NeoDuel: Backpack Monsters added a wide range of languages to its demo, including French, Spanish, German, Brazilian Portuguese, and Russian. The game thus expands its reach beyond the initial Turkish & English versions and already supported Traditional & Simplified Chinese, Korean and Japanese.

After the release of the demo during Steam Next Fest in June, the development team has been diligently refining and iterating on the game in response to player feedback, with updates including elemental animations and new gameplay mechanics to ensure a polished and enjoyable experience for players worldwide.
