DENVER (KDVR) — Look! Up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s the city of Denver’s second annual Mile High Holidays Drone Show!

The city will host free nightly drone shows once again from Nov. 21 through Dec. 31, starting each night at 7 p.m.

The 10-to-15-minute shows will feature 600 drones and will include special specials on certain nights to celebrate local sports teams, according to the city.

The city said the drone show performances will feature “a dozen or more” festive animations, from Santa and his reindeer to Denver landmarks such as the Mile High Tree and Union Station.

The drones will launch each night just west of downtown, according to the city.

Good spots to watch the drone shows, according to the city, include:

  • Tivoli Quad on Auraria Campus
  • Sculpture Park at the Denver Performing Arts Complex
  • 54thirty Rooftop at the Le Méridien Denver Downtown
  • Peaks Lounge at Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center

The city noted the drone shows are subject to cancellation due to weather and “other unforeseen circumstances.”
