DENVER (KDVR) — Look! Up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s the city of Denver’s second annual Mile High Holidays Drone Show!
The city will host free nightly drone shows once again from Nov. 21 through Dec. 31, starting each night at 7 p.m.
Ski areas push back opening days after warm temperatures
The 10-to-15-minute shows will feature 600 drones and will include special specials on certain nights to celebrate local sports teams, according to the city.
The city said the drone show performances will feature “a dozen or more” festive animations, from Santa and his reindeer to Denver landmarks such as the Mile High Tree and Union Station.
The drones will launch each night just west of downtown, according to the city.

The city noted the drone shows are subject to cancellation due to weather and “other unforeseen circumstances.”
