Lio Chi Chong, Deputy Director of Macau’s gaming regulator – the Gaming Inspection of Coordination Bureau (DICJ) – is currently serving as Acting Director, Inside Asian Gaming has learned.

This follows the recent promotion of former director Ng Wai Han to Secretary of Economy and Finance,

According to information from the Official Gazette regarding executive orders concerning the DICJ, the signatory is listed as “Acting Director Lio Chi Chong. ” The Macao SAR Government portal also displays Lio Chi Chong’s title as Acting Director.

Ng Wai Han was officially appointed as the Secretary for Economy and Finance of the Macau SAR on 10 June, with the position of DICJ Director remaining vacant since.
