Longo appointed president and chief executive officer of Urban Science

Urban Science, a global automotive consultancy and technology firm headquartered in Detroit, has appointed Tom Longo as president and chief executive officer.

Longo, a Sterling Heights native, will expand his leadership role, guiding the firm’s strategy and delivering solutions to help automakers and dealers and the AdTech firms that support them achieve clarity and cohesion. He previously served as executive vice president, the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe, and led the planning and execution of Urban Science’s global client delivery model.

He succeeds Jim Anderson, who has transitioned solely to the advisory role of chairman. Anderson retains full ownership of the company and will continue to work with Longo to ensure a seamless leadership transition while continuing to work on growth and success for team members and clients.

Longo holds a bachelor of science degree in system science from Michigan State University and an MBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
