Participants are expected to deliver a unified message on AI at the five-day India AI Summit. Many people from across the industry have joined discussions on topics ranging from child protections to job losses and the need for more equitable access to AI tools worldwide. While demand for generative AI has turbocharged profits, it has also fueled concerns about its broader impact on society. Here's what leaders at the summit had to say.

BRAD SMITH Vice Chair and President, Microsoft "Well, there's lots of differences in the world, but there's not an excess of capital, there's not an excess of investment, there's not an excess of computers. There's not an excess of innovation. I think there's a lot that we can look forward to together."

IRAKLI BERIDZE Head, Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics UNICRI "I think that the collaboration is, very much needed on every level and everywhere in the world. And I'm really hoping that collaboration on the, beneficial use of artificial intelligence will be a key aspect of our prosperity in the future."

ANTONIO BARTOLI Italian Ambassador to India "I think this summit contributes to showcasing the importance of India also as a digital power, because you have a lot of energy, you have a lot of talents, and you have brilliant minds. And so I think that you, already the trajectory is impressive. And I think you can be really and you are already a global power even in AI. And I think it's the interests of a country like mine, Italy and, of Europe to partner with India also because we share a common approach, human centric approach."
