Hospital in Nanjing Completes China’s 1st Pediatric Biventricular Assist Device Surgery

The 13-year-old was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy in Nanjing Children’s Hospital 1 year ago. Ultimately, it was decided to implant ventricular assist device in the patient’s heart combined with a portable device to providing circulatory support.
