The Center for Teaching and Learning will host a workshop on generative artificial intelligence on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in Raynor Library 330B.

The session will examine what employers are seeking in new hires amid increasing automation and how Jesuit higher education can prepare students to succeed in a rapidly changing job market.

Drawing on recent employer feedback, the workshop will explore the intersection of workforce expectations with Jesuit mission and values in the age of generative AI.

Participants will leave prepared to connect job searching and employment with teaching for formation, authenticity and personal storytelling for both educators and students navigating social and technological change.

The event will feature a short presentation by Senior Career and Industry Advisor Grace Dunn of the COBA Business Career Center, followed by a facilitated conversation led by Digital Scholarship Librarian Maxwell Gray of Raynor Library.
