Diia’s portal now accepts spoken queries to its AI assistant, delivering instant voice replies and text transcripts. Experience faster, more accessible access to state services.

This is reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation on its website.

The Diia ecosystem now includes voice recognition for requests to the AI assistant that operates on the portal.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation announced the update.

According to the Ministry, the AI assistant for public services, launched on the portal in September 2025, will now be able to understand voice requests and communicate with customers. In other words, you no longer need to type long queries in the chat – you can simply speak your question.

To use the voice AI assistant, press the button with the sound wave on the main page of the Diia portal or in an already opened chat, voice your request – and Diia.AI will instantly process it, respond with a voice, and echo the reply as text.

Currently, the voice chat supports all the capabilities of the text version: it explains public services on the portal, searches for information about private entrepreneurs, checks insurance history, and can order an income certificate.

From now on it will be able to “understand” voice requests and communicate with customers.

Benefits of Voice Interaction

The ministry emphasizes that the new service is a step toward fully accessible government services. The voice chat makes interaction with public services more inclusive: now people who have difficulty typing or reading from a screen can easily obtain the information they need.

According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, in the first week after the AI assistant launch in the Diia mobile app, more than 1 million citizens used the service.

The new voice interaction with public services is intended to make obtaining the necessary information more convenient and accessible to a broad range of users.

Development of voice capabilities in Diia is aimed at improving ease of use and speed of access to government information.

In the future, such features could make contacting public services even simpler and more efficient.

The launch of voice capabilities in Diia aims to provide greater convenience and accessibility of government services for a wide range of citizens.
