Among Us Virtual Reality might release in December according to a new leak

The Virtual Reality version of the hugely popular online social deduction game Among Us might be released in December this year according to a SteamDB listing. Innersloth the makers of Among Us had announced it was developing the VR format at last year's Game Awards. However, the release date has not been confirmed officially by Innersloth. But the studio has teased fans that it will be taking part in the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase which will be held on Wednesday. The VR experience is going to make the game all the more exciting as players can witness Impostors killing Crewmates right in front of them or call an emergency meeting wherein they can discuss who the Impostor with the virtual avatars rather than typing it on a keyboard. However, the VR version of the game won't be compatible with the original Among Us game. VR players will be able to play against other VR players. Meanwhile, Innersloth says it will reveal further details of the game like the release dates, and additional information around Among Us VR on a later date. The game is likely to be released on PlayStation VR, Meta Quest 2 and Steam platforms.
